John Hill, the longest serving district council Chief Executive in the UK retires after 25 years in post at East Cambridgeshire District Council on 31 December.
Emma Grima has been appointed as the new Chief Executive for East Cambridgeshire District Council.
She will take over from the UK’s longest serving district council Chief Executive, John Hill, who retires after 30 years of service at the Ely-based authority on 31 December.
A grand total of 75 oak trees are in the process of being planted across 20 locations in East Cambridgeshire, thanks to support from parish councils, schools, nurseries and landowners.
