East Cambs Street Scene (ECSS) is the company owned by East Cambridgeshire District Council to provide the recycling and waste service across the district.
If you have just moved, or are about to move, you can request a new customer pack. This will include wheeled bins, a supply of black waste sacks and a collections calendar. Your welcome pack will be delivered within 10 working days.
Once your bins have been delivered, it is your responsibility to keep them safe. You should mark them clearly with your house name or number to prevent them from going missing or being stolen.
New build properties
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to pay for the delivery of their bin delivery to new properties if the developer has not done so. The current delivery and administration charge for a set of blue and green lidded wheeled bins is £63.40. To apply for bins for a new build, please request a new customer pack.
Alternative sack collections
An alternative sack service is offered only where properties are considered by the council to be unsuitable for wheeled bin services. Collections are carried out at the same time as wheeled bin collections, and the same requirements regarding collection points and times apply.
