We are seeking friendly, customer-focused advisors to support our residents during an exciting transition to our new and upgraded waste and recycling services. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping our community embrace more sustainable ways of living.

This is a primarily telephone-based role where you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll provide a courteous, efficient and solution-focused service, aiming to resolve enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling customer enquiries by phone, email and online channels
- Supporting customers face-to-face at the reception desk
- Accurately logging customer interactions using council systems (full training provided)
- Completing associated administrative tasks to support service delivery
You’ll bring previous experience in a customer service or advisory role and a strong understanding of what great service looks like. You’ll be an excellent listener with confident communication and interpersonal skills, strong keyboard skills, and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- A proactive and flexible approach to teamwork
- A commitment to resolving issues efficiently and professionally
- A genuine desire to deliver high-quality customer service
You’ll work 37 hours per week:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 4:30pm
